	Add a ceramic tile backsplash with some decorative tile for added interest and marvel at your own skill and creativity.

	Replace your old faucets with a shiny new ones, add a pull-out feature and you’ll have a better look and better function too.

	As with cabinets, many homeowners are choosing to reface their appliances if the unit is still in good working order but just looking a little out of date. Suddenly that old appliance looks like new again.

	Depending on the flooring material you already have, you can choose to refinish or replace. Since this is just a facelift and not a complete remodel if you are replacing choose an inexpensive option such as linoleum or vinyl tiles. Both options are quick and easy.
	Window treatment
	A new window treatment — especially if the wall color has been changed — can be the finishing touch that ties the room together. Try to find a couple of key colors in the room to accentuate.
